
Organic foods are the agricultural produce and its relevant products that are produced from organic agricultural systems, produced under organic agriculture and relative production standards, and certified by legal, independent organic foods certification organisations. During the production and processing courses, no fertilizers composed with chemical pesticides, chemical fertilizers, hormones, antibiotics, food additives are allowed, and no generic engineering techniques and their products can be used.
The display right of organic foods logo is not life-time. According to international custom, the time limit of organic foods logo certification is 1 year. After 1 year certification extension can be applied. The logo can only be displayed after inspection and analysis.
Not using chemically composed substance (chemical pesticide, chemical fertilizer, growth hormone, etc) is the basic methods and conditions of organic agriculture, but no the fundamental aim of organic food production. Organic agriculture cannot be simply understood as only not using chemical substance, and not applying any land management methods.
